Hello folks! How you doing?
Let’s take a trip back in time to spring 2022. Are you with me? Alright, here we go!
I got the chance to take photos that made people look like they were floating in the clouds. It wasn’t magic, though; it was a photoshoot for a music single cover for Toolbar‘s song “Cotone“.

I want to show you some pictures from this project. There are photos from the cover shoot, behind-the-scenes moments, and I also want to talk about something ofc.
Before I show you the photos, let’s understand the idea behind it. Toolbar wanted their cover to make people feel like they were floating among the clouds.

I loved this idea because it was a creative challenge for me as a photographer.
I had to capture something abstract in a photo.
You might be curious about how this amazing opportunity came about.
Well, it’s a straightforward tale. Toolbar actually got in touch with me after I attended two of their live shows – Poplar Festival 2021 and opening Pop_X in 2022. Impressed by their music, I reached back to them. We had some conversations, met in person, and made the decision to collaborate.

This story is more than just a photo session; it’s a reminder that sometimes you need to take risks, even when things seem tough. The creative industry can be pretty competitive, like a big ocean with lots of strong players. It’s easy to feel small, but I learned that even small folks can make big waves with determination. Don’t let fear stop you.

If, like me, you’re just getting started in your career, here are some simple tips: Stay confident, keep pushing forward, and don’t give up on your dreams. Be open to opportunities, but make sure people respect your work. Focus on projects that you’re really excited about and let your unique talents shine.

Looking back, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of contentment with the work we did, both in terms of the photographs and the amazing experience it offered.
It’s incredible to think that just some months before the shooting, I could never have imagined myself in that position!
So, a heartfelt thanks to Toolbars and to all of you for being a part of this adventure. If you enjoyed the photos, please share your thoughts in the comments on the Instagram post.
Make sure to check out some of Toolbar’s tunes – you’ll love them!
Until next time!
